Before Sonthuy Beauty became two Tucson studios, Son spent years building her craft through hands-on beauty artistry in Vietnam. With more than 18 years in the industry, she brings a practiced eye, quiet precision, and a deeply personal standard of care to every part of the brand.
That same standard still guides the brand today. Son leads both studios the way she has always worked, careful, unhurried, and attentive, so every client leaves feeling polished, cared for, and confident in the result.

Sonthuy's growth is a family-built partnership. Joshua joined the U.S. Army in April 2017 as a mechanic and completed two contracts before being honorably discharged in October 2023. After leaving the military, he turned his focus fully toward building the family businesses with Son, bringing structure, steadiness, and operational care to Sonthuy's next chapter.

No. The “Hair” in Sonthuy Hair & Skin refers to our Luxury Head Spa and scalp care — deep cleansing, scalp treatment, and relaxation — alongside skin treatments and waxing. We do not offer haircuts, color, or styling.

Yes. Every PMU appointment begins with a short consultation to review your goals, map your shape, select pigment, and confirm the result before any work begins.
Yes. All Sonthuy lash extensions are applied with UV lash technology. We still use Lash Extensions as the main service name because that's how most clients search for and understand the service, but every lash extension set at Sonthuy uses our UV lash application method.
