Nano Color Boost
A color refresh that revives faded permanent makeup, bringing definition back without starting over.
A refresh, not a redo.
A color boost re-saturates permanent makeup that has softened over time, restoring tone and definition while keeping your original shape.
It's best once your previous work has fully healed and is still in good shape; your artist will confirm whether a boost or a new appointment is right for you. Because it builds on healed pigment, it's a quicker, more affordable way to keep results looking fresh.
Your visit, step by step.
Quick review of your work
Every boost starts with a look at your existing permanent makeup to confirm it's healed, in good shape, and a good candidate for a refresh rather than new work.
Numbing & prep
A topical numbing step is applied and the area is prepped, so the short session stays comfortable.
Refreshing the color
Pigment is re-saturated over your existing shape to revive tone and definition, with minor shape touch-ups where needed. Your original shape is kept.
Healing
A boost heals faster than new work because it builds on healed pigment. Color looks richer at first and settles over a couple of weeks.
Who it's for.
A Nano Color Boost is for clients whose previous permanent makeup, done here or elsewhere, has healed well but softened or lightened over time. It revives tone and definition without redoing the whole treatment, so it's a quicker, more affordable way to keep results looking fresh.
It's not the right fit if your work has changed shape, shifted color, or needs reshaping, that calls for a new appointment or a correction instead. Your artist will confirm which you need at your consultation.
Common questions.
When should I book a Color Boost instead of a new PMU appointment?
A Color Boost is best once your previous permanent makeup has fully healed and is still in good shape but has faded; your artist will confirm whether a boost or new appointment fits your situation.
How often should I get a Color Boost?
Most clients book one every 12 to 18 months to keep definition looking fresh.
Can you boost work done by another artist?
In many cases, yes, if the existing work has healed well and holds a good shape. Your artist will confirm at consultation whether a boost or a correction is the right path.
Does it hurt?
Most clients find it very manageable. A topical numbing step is used throughout the short session, and many describe the feeling as light pressure rather than pain.
